Housing Stabilization Services

Housing Consultation

Housing Consultation services are designed to help individuals and families who are experiencing housing instability to find and maintain safe and stable housing.

This service can provide support in a number of areas, including:

Helping clients to identify and access appropriate housing options
Assisting clients with completing housing applications and paperwork
Helping clients to navigate the housing search process and understand the rights and responsibilities of tenants
Providing information and referral to other community resources, such as financial assistance programs
Offering education and training on budgeting, credit and debt management, and other financial literacy topics

The target audience for this service is individuals and families who are experiencing housing instability or who are at risk of becoming homeless. The service is also appropriate for individuals and families who are struggling to maintain their current housing due to financial challenges or other barriers.

Housing Transition services provided by DRVEN CARE are tailored to help individuals and families who are experiencing housing instability to make a successful transition into safe and stable housing. Our services include:

Plan Development:

Developing a housing transition plan
Identifying services and benefits that will support clients with housing instability
Identifying resources to pay for deposits or home goods
Identifying resources to cover moving expenses
Researching possible housing options for clients
Contacting possible housing options for clients
Working to expunge records or access reasonable accommodations
Arranging for assistive technology required by clients

Support and Assistance:

Supporting clients in applying for benefits to afford their housing, including determining eligibility for various benefits
Assisting clients with the housing search and application process
Assisting clients with tenant screening and housing assessments
Providing transportation for clients to attend housing-related appointments and discussing housing-related issues
Helping clients understand and negotiate a lease
Promoting/supporting cultural practices and understandings with prospective landlords, property managers
Ensuring new living arrangements are safe for clients and ready for move-in

Housing Sustaining services by DRVEN CARE helps clients maintain their housing and prevent eviction. Our services include:

Plan Development and Maintenance:

Updating and modifying the housing support plan
Identifying behaviors that may jeopardize housing
Educating clients on tenant rights and responsibilities
Assistance with housing recertification processes
Training on being a good tenant and household management
Support and Assistance:
Providing transportation for housing-related appointments
